Tempeh Burgers

Ingredients:

1- 8oz package tempeh

2 TBSP tamari

1 TBSP toasted sesame oil

2 cloves crushed garlic

1 tsp fresh grated ginger

1 TBSP or less olive oil

Directions:

Slice tempeh into four thin patties.

Marinate for one hour in tamari, toasted sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.

Lightly coat pan with olive oil and cook tempeh 5-7 minutes per side, drizzling with marinade as necessary or desired for moisture.

Serve on whole grain buns with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado slices and desired condiments.
